This dynamic, three-part series brings you quickly into the heart of Shamanism where you learn practical wisdom that comes from ancient traditions including the Mayans, Incas, Lakota, Siberian and Navajo (Dine’). Experience the power of shamanic teachings, ceremonies and the wisdom of shamans and healers from around the world. From this place of knowledge you will be able to craft a new relationship with the world around you and rapidly change the energy and dynamics of interpersonal relationships, health and finances.

Access the Wisdom of the Natural World. For thousands of years people have seen the universe, our planet, and nature, as being distinctively separate from the human experience. Nature provides a unique gateway to learn about ourselves and our role in “dreaming” our personal world into existence every single day.

Workshop leader Bill Eager has spent more than a decade working with elders, medicine healers and shamans in North and South America. Teachings and experiences are woven into a dynamic workshop where you will not only learn, but also experience the practical applications of profound and ancient wisdom with guided ceremonies. Let’s begin!

• Learn how to rapidly ground yourself so you can be present for any situation.
Gain a practical understanding of the four directions, why they are so important in every native tradition and how you can use this information to strengthen and enhance your daily inter-personal relationships.
• Find out how the four worlds (animals, plants, minerals and humans) interact with each other every moment of every day.
• Discover your own power animals (totems) and learn how they can help you in daily life.

PART I
We begin with shamanic foundations including the elements, the energy and symbolism of the four directions, the best way to engage with the four seasons and the shamans use of shapes including the powerful circle for ceremonies and healing. Ceremonies you will experience include 2 ceremonies to express and enjoy Gratitude; a simple technique to honor the Four Directions; how to use Intention to create change in your life using water and rose quartz; and how to connect with the element of air and your personal prayers. The journey begins!

PART II
Delve further into the power of Medicine Wheels and learn how to layer one wheel on top of another for teachings and insight into your life experiences. Discover the connection between Ayurveda and the Doshas and Shamanic insights into both personality and physical traits to learn about yourself and others. Ceremonies you will experience include Asking Spirit for Answers to any question you have, Grounding and Connecting with the energy of the Earth and using Sage and Smudge to clean the energy of a person and a physical space.

PART III
Discover how the Four Worlds that exist on earth have unique characteristics which we can use in our daily life. Understand the purpose of humans in relationship to the other worlds and find out how you can uncover your animal totem and connect more deeply with the animal world. Ceremonies you experience include Earth and Sky for changing your energy and subconscious thought patterns, Putting out the Roses for energetic protection and grounding, and Speaking with Animal Totems.

Bill Eager – Yoga Teacher and Healer
Bill is the author of 10 books including THRIVE INSIDE: Transformative Secrets of Spiritual Masters, Gurus and Shamans. Bill is a Yoga Alliance certified yoga instructor, Yoga Nidra Facilitator and a Reiki and energy healer. Bill has trained with the leading yoga masters of our time including his guru Yogi Amrit Desai, BKS Iyengar, A.G. Mohan, Alan Finger and Seane Corn. He has worked extensively with shamans and native healers in the U.S., Guatemala and Peru. His efforts have been featured in Yoga Journal, Shape Magazine, E-Mindful.com, Yotran.com and Yogi Times. Bill has been a presenter at Yoga Journal conferences and taught yoga workshops around the world.
